Volunteer Opportunities
Court Accompaniment
Stay with a child throughout the proceedings, liaise with the Crown Prosecutor and guide each child through the process.
Events
Perfect for party planners, this opportunity allows you to assist in organizing events and special activities for the Centre.
Child Advocate
You'll play an important role in helping children and their families every step of the way, and ensure that they receive the support needed.
Administration
As an administrative volunteer, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the day-to-day operations.
Research
Your research will help the Zebra Centre evaluate our existing programs, as well as inform new practices.
Board of Directors
Being a member of the Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre Board is a rewarding and meaningful volunteer experience. As the governing body for the Zebra Centre, the Board helps to address the needs of the children and families we serve, and the requests of staff, stakeholders, and donors.
Community Engagement Team
Our Community Engagement Team is made up of caring and talented community members volunteering their time to support and strengthen the Zebra Centre’s advocacy activities, fundraising and community events and initiatives, and networking and awareness building.
Fundraising Events
Hosting a third party fundraiser or event raises valuable funds for our Centre, sparks a conversation about child abuse and inspires others to get involved.
