The Zebra Child Protection Centre, in partnership with the Alberta Government is thrilled to announce the CARA Conference on Thursday, October 12th,2017. This one day event will bring together Alberta Child Advocacy Centre staff and partners for collaborative discussions and to learn more about the incredible work the Child Advocacy Centres of Alberta and their partners have been doing in 2017.
In addition to the CARA Conference, The Zebra Child Protection Centre and the Alberta Government have partnered with TEND to bring the CARE4YOU Conference to Western Canada for the first time on Friday, October 13th, 2017. CARE4YOU is a full day conference that focuses on providing helping professionals with the tools needed to address and manage the normal consequence of the vital work you do. CARE4YOU teaches you how to identify, avoid and manage compassion fatigue; talks to leaders about the vital role they play in building resilient teams, and provides an opportunity to refuel with new tools, inspiring stories and energizing sessions.
