Chief Executive Officer

Emmy Stuebing is the Chief Executive Officer of the Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.

Emmy is proud to be a part of an organization making a difference in the lives of young people. With over 25 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector she has worked for eight great non-profit organizations including the Fort Edmonton Foundation, Alberta Cancer Foundation, Alberta Emerald Foundation and Edmonton Public Library.

Emmy earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive certification in 2008 and has maintained this designation for 15 years. She has expertise in fund development, communications, project management and nonprofit management.

In 2010, Emmy was recognized as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 under 40 by Avenue Edmonton magazine and in 2015, the Edmonton Community Foundation recognized Emmy as an inspiring donor, leading by example by establishing her own endowment fund to give back to the community in perpetuity.

In her spare time, Emmy loves live music and theatre. Emmy is a determined golfer, an avid reader, a collector of eyeglasses and she loves to organize events and entertain guests, especially if there is a theme involved! But her favourite pastime is to go for daily walks, exploring her community with her partner Shawn and her dog Odin.
