Sean Armstrong
Edmonton Police Service Representative
Sean is an Inspector with the Serious Crimes Branch of the Edmonton Police Service. He has served on the Zebra Board as the EPS liaison since 2018.
He has worked with EPS for 29 years, starting out as a constable in the South Division, where he walked a beat on Whyte Avenue. He has since worked with the Forensic Identification Services Section, as Sergeant in the Detention Unit, a Detective with the Sexual Assault Section, and as Staff Sergeant with the Domestic Offender Crimes Section. He was promoted to Inspector, and after a brief stint with the Southeast Division, assumed his current role.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has taken further training in forensic interviewing, search warrant writing, forensic identification, and executive leadership. He has also served on the board of the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton and volunteered with Community Initiatives Against Family Violence.
