Darren Eastcott

Director at Large

Darren Eastcott is proud to have been involved in the opening of the Zebra Centre in 2002. He strongly believes every day is an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life, which is why he has been a long-time supporter of the work the centre does.

Before joining the Board of Directors in June of 2019, he worked for 36 years with the Edmonton Police Service, a career he dreamed of pursuing since he was a young child. Currently, he is Senior Director of Employee Experiences at AMA. Eastcott has worked a majority of his life with young people. He has many years of volunteer experience with the Boys and Girls Club, and was involved with the School Parent Advisory Boards as a committee member and as the Chair for a number of years. Also, as a passionate hockey fan, he spent many years as a coach of the sport and is a die-hard Edmonton Oilers supporter. Eastcott considers his family to be his entire world. He and his wife, Melanie are very proud parents to 3 sons.
